About Panitch Schwarze Belisario & Nadel LLP

Founded by six partners with decades of shared experience, the roots of Panitch Schwarze Belisario & Nadel LLP run deep in the domestic and international IP communities. As a boutique firm, our moderate size fosters close attorney-client relationships and allows us to tailor our services to meet unique client needs. Our first-rate team of attorneys and advisors has experience across the sciences, in technologies, and in branding ranging from semiconductors and computer software to household products and toys.

Given the increasing complexities of IP protection, particularly with the Supreme Court supporting higher barriers to securing patents, it is now more important than ever for clients to have experienced representation. Our team approaches each client request with the responsiveness and creativity generated by a small-firm atmosphere, protecting the intellectual property assets of a diverse clientele, ranging from Fortune 500 companies to individual inventors.

Trademarks, copyrights, and domain names can be among a client’s most valuable assets. The close working relationship between our patent attorneys and our trademark and copyright attorneys ensures that strategic decisions are made that provide a broad range of protection for the intellectual property rights of our clients.

Panitch Schwarze Belisario & Nadel LLP was officially established on January 1, 2008. Although the name is new, a common thread connects our team of intellectual property professionals, most of whom have practiced together for decades, including 18 years with the former Panitch Schwarze Jacobs & Nadel firm, and more recently, 9 years with Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld LLP.
